The first step towards joint success with our Swedish partners!

Ivano-Frankivsk became one of the winners of the “Grant Support for Swedish-Ukrainian Partnerships” competition and is starting to implement its first successful application in cooperation with the municipality of Luleå. This is not just a new project - it is an opportunity to build long-term and sustainable international ties that will bring tangible results for the community.

The partnership within this initiative will allow us to develop the accessibility of our medical and other facilities, which is important for the community.

Our partners from Sweden will be actively involved in the project, sharing their experience, conducting training, and promoting professional exchange and the implementation of best practices in the local context. This cooperation is an example of how international interaction can create new opportunities for the sustainable development of cities and communities.

Winning the competition was made possible by the Polaris program and the Cities4Cities initiative, which support partnerships between Ukrainian and Swedish municipalities aimed at real change and development.
