The USAID "Competitive Economy of Ukraine" Program is launching a new tool to support entrepreneurs. To improve the competitiveness of Ukrainian businesses, the Programme will enter into partnership agreements with Ukrainian companies.
As part of the partnership agreement, companies will receive up to three items of equipment or marketing services from the list of the most popular in Ukraine. In return, businesses will commit to creating jobs and increasing sales.
The companies will independently choose the equipment or services.
Examples of equipment that companies can receive under a partnership agreement:
Refrigeration equipment;
Sewing equipment;
Cutting equipment;
Baking equipment;
Computer machines;
Laser cutting machines;
Warehouse racks.
Examples of marketing services:
Brand development services;
Help with promotion in search engines;
Development of a marketing strategy;
Developing an export strategy;
Advisory services on entering new markets;
Advising on lean manufacturing.
It is expected that partner companies:
They will have at least 10 employees at the time of application;
They will be able to invest in their own development;
Will be ready to create 20 jobs and/or generate $1.5 million in sales during the implementation of the partnership agreement.
