#REBTES Best European practice in supporting entrepreneurship – Entrepreneur Central
As part of exploring best European practices in entrepreneurship development, within the framework of the Developing Regional SME Business Transfer Ecosystems (REBTES) project, implemented under the Interreg Europe program, it is worth highlighting the Entrepreneur Central initiative, which operates at the municipal level as an effective tool for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
Entrepreneur Central works according to the “one-stop shop” principle for entrepreneurs. The platform brings together various business support services and provides comprehensive assistance to entrepreneurs at all stages of company development — from starting a business to transferring it to a new owner.
Key elements of the practice include:
▪️ centralized access to consultations and business support services;
▪️ guidance for entrepreneurs throughout the processes of business creation, development, and transfer;
▪️ coordination between the municipality, expert organizations, and the business community;
▪️ creating a supportive entrepreneurial environment at the city level.
This approach significantly simplifies the interaction between businesses and institutions, improves access to information and support, and contributes to the sustainable development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The experience of Entrepreneur Central demonstrates that integrated business support services at the local level can become an important tool for the development of SMEs and for strengthening the economic resilience of regions.
