#REBTES Kick-off meeting to launch the international REBTES Project!

In June, the kick-off meeting of the REBTES project - Developing Regional SME Business Transfer Ecosystems - took place in Seinäjoki, Finland. The project is implemented under the Interreg Europe programme.

The aim of the project is to develop effective policies that support business transfer between generations, as well as to enhance the sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises in the participating regions through the adaptation of best European practices.

Ivano-Frankivsk has joined the initiative as a full partner, and representatives of our Department took part in the two-day event, which brought together nine partner organisations from different European countries.

The meeting programme included:

• presentation of the project's goals and key components
  
  
• discussion of policy instruments that influence business transfer in the regions
  
  
• exploration of successful practices in Finland
  
  
• study visits to local entrepreneurial organisations.
  
  

During the discussions, participants focused on the importance of interregional exchange of experience, the specifics of the business transfer process, and the potential for adapting successful models to the realities of their regions.

For Ivano-Frankivsk, participation in the REBTES project opens new opportunities for the development of the entrepreneurial environment, the formation of effective support mechanisms for small businesses, and the creation of conditions for business continuity between generations.
