SUMMIT W4UA «World For Ukraine»

       On September 28-29, a representative of the department took part in the summit of the W4UA "World For Ukraine," which was held in Rzeszow (Poland).

       World for Ukraine Foundation (W4UA) - is a public organization, the main purpose of which is to unite and support the efforts of public organizations, central and local government institutions, businesses, mass media, analytical centers and private individuals for the benefit of the Ukrainian nation. The foundation organizes the W4UA summit every year, which gathers famous people from Ukraine and the world as a whole.

       In 2022, the W4UA Summit gathered more than 1,500 participants in the city of Rzeszów. With the participation of more than 100 institutional, corporate and non-governmental partners, the event became a place for discussing interdisciplinary topics and cooperation of many interested parties in the conditions of the current crisis in Ukraine. At more than 40 panel discussions, presentations and workshops, topical humanitarian, social and economic topics were discussed.

       The purpose of the Foundation is to unite and support the activities of: non-governmental organizations, local self-government bodies, entrepreneurs and individuals as well as the protection of human rights through activities aimed at:

  1. Cooperation and integration of initiatives, movements, civil society and states with other subjects of international law;
  2. Building partnerships between the Republic of Poland and other states, as well as between citizens of these states;
  3. Promoting the development of initiatives, movements and civil society based on the values and standards of functioning of public life of the Member States of the European Union;
  4. Actions for changes aimed at providing citizens with equal opportunities in their intellectual, professional, social and cultural development and the full realization of civil rights;
  5. Public safety and order, development of self-government, education, culture, health care, as well as increasing accessibility and improving standards of functioning of other public services;
  6. Promotion of economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, support and implementation of joint initiatives in these areas.

        We thank the organizers for a great initiative and for a significant contribution to the process of rebuilding Ukraine in the future!
