#SmartTour Vine & Wine Smart Information Center for visitors
As part of exploring the best European practices in sustainable tourism development within the "Smart Tourism - Smart Destinations: Accessibility, Sustainability, Digitalisation, Cultural Heritage & Creativity (Smart Tour)" project, implemented under the Interreg Europe programme, we continue to showcase successful initiatives that combine digital technologies, cultural heritage, and local economic development.
One of these inspiring examples is the VINE & WINE Smart Information Center for Visitors – an innovative visitor information centre designed to promote wine culture, support wine tourism, and strengthen local wine producers.
The centre uses digital technologies to provide visitors with interactive information about wineries, wine routes, local attractions, gastronomic experiences, and cultural events. Tourists can receive personalised recommendations, plan their itineraries, and discover the traditions and history of the region's wine production.
An important feature of this initiative is its support for small local wineries and producers. Through modern digital tools, they gain greater visibility, improve access to new customers, and expand their presence in the tourism market.
