#SmartTour Preliminary Results of the SmartTour Project Presented in Ivano-Frankivsk

On July 23, a press conference was held at the Congress Center of the Potocki Palace to present the preliminary results of the international project “Smart Tourism – Smart Destinations: Accessibility, Sustainability, Digitalization, Cultural Heritage & Creativity (SmartTour),” implemented as part of the Interreg Europe Program.

During the event, the first phase of the project was summarized, and the results of international cooperation with European partners were presented. Participants were briefed on the key outcomes achieved during interregional meetings in Greece, Italy and France, as well as with good European practices in the areas of digitalization of tourism services, sustainable development, accessibility, and tourism destination management.

During the press conference, the next steps for implementing the project were also outlined, including upcoming study visits to partner regions, the organization of international events, and work on updating the Complex program for the development of the tourism industry in the Ivano-Frankivsk City Territorial Community, drawing on successful European experience.
