Creative Industries Forum: results and new perspectives

On 27 February 2025, the Creative Industries Forum was held in Ivano-Frankivsk, bringing together entrepreneurs, artists, government officials, experts and everyone working in the creative economy. The event was the final event of the project ‘Creating Infrastructure for Businesses Affected by the War’, implemented as part of the initiative ‘Supporting Rapid Economic Recovery of Ukrainian Municipalities’ (SRER).

What was discussed at the Forum?
- Presentation of the project results - participants learned about the restored infrastructure in the Potocki Palace, which will now become a platform for business development and creative communities.
- Discussions about the future of the creative industries - during the panel sessions, speakers shared their experience and ideas on the development of the photography and music industries, as well as prospects for entrepreneurs in the creative sector.
- Lively discussions, new acquaintances and cooperation - the Forum became a platform for exchanging ideas and finding opportunities for partnerships between businesses, artists and institutions.

Speakers included well-known photographers, musicians, entrepreneurs, producers and local government representatives working to create opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in the creative industries.

Summing up the Forum, the participants noted the importance of such initiatives for the development of the local economy and support for entrepreneurs affected by the war.

This event is not the end, but only the beginning! The restored infrastructure and opportunities created will work for the development of the city and the creative sector long after the project is over.
