Workshop on recording: from idea to sound
On February 18, Ivano-Frankivsk hosted the Day 1 Recording Workshop “From Idea to Sound” organized as part of the project “Creating Infrastructure for Businesses Affected by the War”. The event brought together creative entrepreneurs, artists, and anyone who works with sound or wants to master its subtleties.
The event program covered the key stages of audio content creation:
Familiarization with professional equipment and its capabilities for recording, editing, and sound processing.
Recording an excerpt from a book by the famous Ukrainian writer Taras Prokhasko in a specially equipped space.
A practical session on creating podcasts with the participation of representatives of Municipal Enterprise “Palace”, who shared their experience and talked about the peculiarities of working with sound.
Lively discussion of current trends in sound recording, approaches to creating quality content and ways to popularize it.
Thanks to practical exercises, the participants not only immersed themselves in the process of creating audio products, but also had the opportunity to apply their skills in practice.
The event was organized within the framework of the Support for Rapid Economic Recovery of Ukrainian Municipalities (SRER) project, implemented by UNDP with the support of the international cooperation project ReACT4UA (Reaching and Implementing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in the Field of Trade), funded by the German Government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
