The REBTES project, coordinated by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SEAMK, Finland), also known as Developing Regional SME Business Transfer Ecosystems, started in early May. The goal of this Interreg Europe - funded project is to develop regional ownership transfer ecosystems by influencing related policy instruments.

The project involves nine partners and two associated partners from Finland, Croatia, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Belgium. In Ukraine, the project partner is the Department of investment policy, projects, international relations, tourism and city promotion of the Ivano-Frankivsk city council.

Through best practices and collaboration, new operational models to support businesses

The project activities focus on sharing information and learning best practices to support SME business transfers. The best practices will be collected and shared for others to use. Through extensive information sharing and collaboration, new operational models can be created to support SME business transfers.

Each project partner will create a local ecosystem network to increase regional interest in supporting business transfers and ensure the continuity of the project's actions.

The ultimate aim of the project is to improve policy instruments related to business transfers and achieve sustainable results to support local businesses and economies.

The four-year project's total budget is 1.49 million euros, with Ivano-Frankivsk's share being 103,944 euros.
