#STEPUP Skills Training for EU Projects – Upgrading Performance: project launch in Botoșani!

On 16 October 2026, a Ukrainian delegation from Ivano-Frankivsk visited the city of Botoșani (Romania), where it took part in the kick-off conference for the international project, "Skills Training for EU Projects – Upgrading Performance" (STEP-UP), which is being implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 programme.

The event provided an important opportunity for the Ukrainian delegation to meet with their Romanian partners, discuss the project’s aims and objectives, and outline the next steps for its implementation. Participation in the conference enabled the exchange of experiences, the alignment of a shared vision for the planned activities, and the strengthening of the partnership between Ivano-Frankivsk and Botoșani County.

The STEP-UP project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of both partners, develop expertise in the management of EU projects, and promote effective cross-border cooperation.
