Training «Russian propaganda in Ivano-Frankivsk region: detection, debunking, protection»
The Representation of the European Union in Ukraine and «Internews-Ukraine» are organizing a two-day training «russian propaganda in the Ivano-Frankivsk region: detection, debunking, protection» in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
During the training, the participants receive answers to the following questions: What narratives and channels of spreading fakes does russian propaganda use in the Ivano-Frankivsk region? What are the disinformation narratives of russia during the war? What are the most effective methods of debunking russian fakes?
Trainers:
• Olga Yurkova, co-founder of the fact-checking media StopFake;
• Alyona Hryshko, analyst at «Internews-Ukraine»;
• Valeriya Kovtun, founder and head of the National Media Literacy Project «Filter» of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine;
• Svitlana Slipchenko, head of VoxCheck from VoxUkraine.
When: 6 and 7 April 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m
Where: ZOOM (registered participants will receive the link by e-mail)
For Whom?: Active youth, representatives of public organizations,journalists and everyone interested in exposing fake russian propaganda.

The selection of participants takes place on a competitive basis — based on the content of the sent applications.
