Ukraine-China: Building Bridges

    A five-day project "Ukraine-China: Building Bridges" ended in Kharkiv, in which representatives of the Department took part.

    Representatives of local governments from Dnipro, Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Kremenchuk, Poltava, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, Lutsk, Melitopol and Kherson, in particular, took part in the events, where they were able to exchange of experience of working with Chinese sister cities. It will be recalled that the Agreement on Friendship and Cooperation between Ivano-Frankivsk and the city of Nanning was signed on May 4, 2019.

    As part of the project, the organizers conducted lectures and practical courses on topics related to historical and cultural ties between Ukraine and China, administrative culture and business etiquette in modern China.

    Participants workshops learned about the peculiarities of negotiations with Chinese partners, the formation of the delegation to travel to China, and others.

    Representatives of Ukrainian municipalities also got acquainted with a long-term investment project - Ecopolis HTZ Business Park, visited the Chuk Lam Buddhist Temple and the famous tourist location - Park of Maxim Gorky.

    At the end of the project participants were awarded the relevant certificates at the Kharkiv Diplomatic Club.
