Exhibition of works by Hungarian artist Stefan Arpad Madyar was opened at the Art Museum.

    Employees of the Hungarian Embassy in Ukraine for Culture and Education Tomash Vícian, Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Marcіnkіv, Primary Consul of Hungary in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Vasil 'Vіshivanyuk, Head of the Hungarian Cultural and Educational Center Miroslava Nagornyak took part in the opening.

    Madiar Stefan-Aprad was born in Chop, Transcarpathian region. In 1979, Stefan-Arpad graduated from the Ukrainian Printing Institute named after I. Fedorov, the section of graphics. His teachers were an artist Valerii Lamakh and an artist, theorist of colour Florian Yuriev. After graduation, he worked as a senior artist-restorer of metal works at the Museum of Historical Treasures at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. From 1991 to 2005 - the chief painter of "Poligrafknyha". He issued a large number of publications, for which he received diplomas of all-Union and national exhibitions of book art, and also developed a series of posters for the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

    He was awarded the Ukrainian Order "For Merits" of the III grade and the Hungarian Silver Cross "For Merits". Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1993, he has been a member of the World Association of Colour Experts (АІС).

    The exhibition will last until June 22 .
