Another cross-border grant project has been completed - "ALTERA - Alternative Therapies in Maramures and Ivano-Frankivsk" (1HARD/4.1/37) Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 funded by the European Union ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020.
The main result of the project was the creation of a rehabilitation center for alternative therapy in Maramures, as well as on the basis of the Municipal non-profit enterprise "Ivano-Frankivsk City Children's Clinical Hospital of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council". Both centers will specialize in the rehabilitation of children with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and central nervous system.
In addition to the infrastructure component (namely, the repair of hospital premises and the purchase of modern medical equipment), the project included training for doctors and exchanges of experience with Romanian colleagues.
The project team is grateful for the cooperation and support of our Romanian colleagues from the Maramures County Council and the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Maramures, all participants and those involved in the project implementation!
