Meeting of the German-Ukrainian Municipal Partnership Network
About partnerships that begin with trust. And about how cities find each other when they share common values and mutual responsibility for development. Cities, like people, have their own character, their own dreams, their own challenges. And true partners emerge when there are shared values - trust, openness, and a desire to support one another. Partnership is not just about finances. It is about shared ideas, exchanging experiences, learning from each other, and real change for communities. We do not just ask for support - we come with our own initiatives, a willingness to share knowledge, and create new opportunities together. Because sustainable development begins where there is mutual trust and humanity.
We shared our experience in establishing partnerships with German cities at the Meeting of the German-Ukrainian Municipal Partnership Network, part of the “Municipal Partnerships with Ukraine” project, organized by the Service Agency “Cities in One World” (SKEW) of the non-profit organization Engagement Global, which took place recently in Lviv. We sincerely thank the organizers for the wonderful atmosphere of dialogue, inspiration, and mutual exchange of experience! Despite the challenges, we continue to implement our ideas for community development.
