Within the frame of the Project «Research and preservation of Jewish cultural heritage in the border area» (JCulture) first meeting of project teams held. During the visit, our partners from the Maramures Museum (Romania) also visited the Synagogue, where the main activities will be implemented.

 Today, the Director of the Department of Investment Policy, Projects, International Relations, Tourism and City Promotion of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council Igor Popadyuk signed a Grant Contract with totaling 287745.19 Euros for the project «Research and preservation of Jewish cultural heritage in the border area» (JCulture) under the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020.

As part of the Project «Back to our common roots» (ROOTS), an International Conference was held to present the intermediate results of the activities. For the first time since the start of the project, representatives of two partners from Botosani (Romania) had the opportunity to visit Ivano-Frankivsk. The delegation was headed by the newly elected mayor of Botosani Cosmin Andrei.
